Guest House of charm and exception in Burgundy
We’re happy to welcome you in our 18th century private mansion, one of the historical residences of the city of Joigny, which welcomed on July 23, 1830 Prince Ferdinand Philippe Duc of Orleans, eldest son of the King of France Louis Philippe.
Only 1h15 from Paris, our guest house is the ideal starting point to discover the gates of Burgundy. You can visit just an hour's drive from La Gobine many castles like Ancy-Le-Franc, Guédélon, Saint-Fargeau or the Basilica of Vézelay, the famous vineyard of Chablis but also some "nuggets" while enjoying our wines of Côtes d'Auxerre. Joigny is also beautiful boat rides, in the forest or in the air.
The Louis XVI suite
includes a double bed 140 x 190 and a sitting room which can also welcome a third person with a single bed 90 x 190. This suite of 40 square meters includes a private bathroom with a balneotherapy bathtub and various programs of relaxation and well-being.
The room Eugénie
with its king size bed of 160 x 190 will bring you comfort and space in a cozy and warm decor. All windows overlook La Gobine park and its vegetable garden. Its bathroom is equipped with a large walk-in shower.
The room du Barry
with its double bed of 140 x 190 is decorated with Louis XV period furniture while ensuring the comfort of modernity. The bathroom has a bath a view of the park.
